As some of you may have heard, this week, I met with and officially have a new musician on the PharoahMoan Productions roster. Her name is Olga Belikova, and as soon as we have some information converted from Russian, I will post more information! This is very exciting!!!
A little from her Bio:
My name is Olga Belikova. I am an independent Singer/Songwriter, originally from Moscow. Music has always been a passion in my life, and I have been involved in creating it since my early childhood. I am in the process of writing more music now, and I continue to play the guitar. I just cannot imagine my life without music.
This April, 2010, I completed my first EP entitled "When..." ("Kogda..." in Russian). You are more than welcome to check out the entire album either here or on my website at http://www.olgabelikova.com
I grew up in Moscow, Russia and spent most of my early childhood there. I moved to the United States just before I turned 15. Now that I am in my twenties, I am spending all of my time and energy of creating beautiful music.
To me music is the kind of energy that gives us everything we need in our everyday lives It is the one sure thing that can make our lives both colorful and joyous! I love anything that is related to music. Anything from listening to it, writing lyrics, recording songs, to even just hearing it performed on the radio or on stage. It is a passion and to me, one of the most wonderful gifts.
Ever since I was a child back in Moscow, I have been involved in music in one way or another. Although I am mainly a singer, I have also been studying the guitar for quite a few years. Outside of that, I am also a songwriter. I have been interested in writing music and poetry since I was very young, and that has enabled me to develop lyrics of my own.
I started putting my songs together shortly before I left the “Motherland.” To this day the language I use in my songs is Russian. As much as I appreciate living in the United States, the Russian culture and language has never lost their significance in my life.
Most people that I have come across in my life have been rather skeptical towards my dream of becoming a professional musician, but I keep moving forward because there is only one way to find out what the future holds, and that is – to try.
I hope you enjoy listening to my music and your comments are always welcome!
